Virtual Desktops Work on different ‘virtual’ desktops from a
single system. Stop switching between multiple windows. Windows' virtual
desktop feature can be a lifesaver, allowing users to use more than one
application simultaneously. To use it, follow these steps:
- Click the Task View button, which looks
like two black-and-white overlapping rectangles. You can also press Windows Key
+ Tab.

Now, you'll see the option to add a new desktop. Select the + icon to add a new virtual desktop.

Smart Lookup:
Search for something without leaving a document on Microsoft Word with Smart Lookup. - Click a window's title bar, give it a vigorous shake, and watch all other open windows minimise.
- Open Microsoft Word and select the word or phrase you want to research. Now, select Smart Lookup from the References tab. A panel will appear on the right, with search results for that word.
Alternative method: Select the word or phrase and right-click. Choose Smart Lookup from the available options. An insights panel with web search results will appear on the right side.

1. Switch the case of selected text. - Windows: Hold Shift and press the arrow keys to highlight the text, then press Ctrl + Shift + F for uppercase, Ctrl + Shift + E for lowercase.
- Mac: Hold Option and press the arrow keys to highlight the text, then press Command + Shift + U for uppercase, Command + Shift + L for lowercase.

2. Add up values in a range of cells in Excel. - Select the range of cells you want to sum.
- Press Alt + = (equal sign).
3. Copy formatting from one cell to another in Excel. - Select the cell with the desired formatting, then click the Format Painter brush (located on the Home tab) and click the cell(s) you want to format.
